100 Years Ago: 1922
Girls are invited to make themselves “at home” at the Blue Triangle, 86 Main Street, Auburn. This “friendly place” and club room of the Y. W. C A. which always has a welcome for girls will be open from 3 to 6 P. M., Thanksgiving Day. All girls and women who have nothing to do in their leisure hours on this holiday are invited to come and make themselves at home by the open fire.
50 Years Ago: 1972
The children attending the nursery school at the Jewish Community Center have enjoyed field trips each week since school opened in the late summer. But this week the field trip is right at home plate. They were introduced to interesting items from the past on a visit to the Antique show which is being held at the Center today and Thursday.
25 Years Ago: 1997
On Dec. 4th and 5th, a Holiday Craft Fair will be held at the Mechanics Savings Bank, 100 Minot Ave. Auburn.
