There is additional reliability testing that needs to be done before The Oaks can be fully energized.”Due to the ongoing outage, school leaders announced virtual learning will continue through Friday, March 3. Additionally, there will be no changes to the 2022-2023 academic calendar.Student living on campus will be brought back to campus in phases beginning Thursday, March 2. According to officials, this is to make sure they have the necessary resources to get all student residents back on campus with minimal issues.Students can expect to have breakfast at the Hilton Thursday morning. Lunch will be served at Loyola University at the same times as previous days. However, school leaders said dinner plans are contingent upon the power being restored. School leaders commended Entergy’s efforts to restore power saying, “…our friends at Entergy have gone above and beyond to be of assistance to the University.”This is the second power outage for the school in a two-week period.
