Construction is underway on a new location for Zea Rotisserie & Bar at Clearview City Center, a move that marks the next phase in the property’s large-scale redevelopment project.
The restaurant, operated by New Orleans-based Taste Buds Management, will move from its current spot near Target inside the former mall building to a standalone site adjacent to Veterans Boulevard. The new location is expected to open in February 2026, according to Clearview City Center officials.
The relocation is a strategic step in advancing Clearview City Center’s long-term transformation into a mixed-use destination. It will also clear the way for demolition of the former mall structure and speed up the project’s multi-year construction schedule, which will include future tenant announcements and additional redevelopment milestones.
“We are excited to move into this next phase of Clearview City Center as we break ground on a new, modern Zea Rotisserie & Bar concept that I am confident will be a destination dining experience for Jefferson Parish,” said Thomas Richards, managing partner at Clearview City Center. “The redesigned restaurant aligns perfectly with our long-term vision to provide a unique, elevated experience for the region.”
The new Zea will feature an updated layout designed to reflect the brand’s shift toward a more upscale dining experience. Plans call for a centrally located rotisserie in the dining room, a larger bar, and a 1,000-square-foot patio for outdoor dining and entertainment. The design is part of a broader brand update that Zea has begun rolling out at locations across the country.
Clearview City Center’s redevelopment began in September 2020 and has already introduced several new tenants and amenities, including Regions Bank, Ruby Slipper Café, Ochsner Health, Smalls Sliders, The Metro at Clearview luxury apartments, and a remodeled Target store.
Zea’s current Clearview location will remain open during construction of the new restaurant.
