According to PWInsider, there was significant backstage chatter during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, indicating that the production plans for the Royal Rumble are on the level of WrestleMania.
The event, set to take place on January 31 in Riyadh, is not simply a matter of WWE setting up a ring in an existing infrastructure. In a move that underscores the scale of WWE’s partnership with the Kingdom, the company has built its own venue from scratch. This level of investment aligns with sources stating that this could be the most elaborate WWE production ever staged in the region.
Fans received their clearest look at this massive undertaking earlier this week thanks to social media leaks. Photos and videos have come out on social media to show off the set. The visuals revealed a finished roof, extensive lighting rigs, complex LED systems, and the Royal Rumble logo already in place.
