Woman struck, killed in Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — A woman was struck and killed Monday night in Downers Grove.

Authorities responded to the 2300 block of Ogden Avenue at around 9:40 p.m. on the report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash.

A woman was struck by a vehicle when she was crossing the street. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Ogden and the driver stayed at the scene, according to police.

The crash is under investigation.
