Winning Powerball ticket worth $50K sold in Middleport

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A third-prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Middleport, the New York Lottery announced.

The winning Powerplay ticket for Saturday’s drawing was sold at the On the Ridge Market at 9202 Ridge Road in Middleport.

A Powerplay ticket gives players a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes up to 10 times as part of the Powerball drawing.

The Powerball drawing is televised at 10:59 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
