Wichita’s Fall Festival Season Brings Food, Drink and Fun

Wichita’s annual film festival has long been considered among the best for filmmakers. In 2023, it made the list of the top 25 coolest film festivals in the world to attend, according to MovieMaker Magazine. In 2024, the publication named it one of 50 film festivals worth the entry fee in 2024. The 23rd annual Tallgrass Film Festival runs from Oct. 16-19 at various locations, mostly in downtown Wichita. Expect short and feature films from around the world, filmmaker labs, roundtables, VIP receptions, gala parties and more.
