West Haven offers students free back-to-school haircuts

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — As summer comes to an end and school resumes, West Haven is offering students free back-to-school haircuts.

The “Westies Ready Back-to-School Haircut Drive” is in collaboration with West Haven police and City of West Haven Youth and Family Services.

The initiative supports students between kindergarten and 12th grade.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, at the Johnson Community Center, 201 Noble Street.
