BOSTON, Mass. (WTNH) — A birthday celebration for a brave little boy! Meet now 5-year-old Lincoln.
You see, Lincoln, who is from Connecticut, has been staying at Boston Children’s for more than 300 days as he awaits a heart transplant.
News 8 was told he is obsessed with fire trucks and his heroes are firefighters. So the Boston Fire Department knew what to do to make this sweet boy feel extra special on his special day.
Five firetrucks and tons of firefighters joined in to ring in birthday number five!
High fives, lots of smiles and lots of fun!
Firefighters even sang to the newest member of their team and the department presented Lincoln with a Boston Fire Department Junior Firefighter certificate.
A fighter now turned fire-fighter! And a day to remember.
