PLAQUEMINES PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A $100,000 winning Louisiana Lottery Easy 5 ticket has yet to be claimed and will soon expire.
The unclaimed jackpot ticket was purchased on Feb. 26, at Adams Grocery on Highway 23 in Buras, Louisiana. It matched all five numbers drawn, 13-27-28-30-31.
Lottery officials say they look forward to the winner claiming the prize.
“In the meantime, the individual should treat the ticket as cash. It is also a good idea to sign the back of the ticket for security purposes,” said Lottery President Rose Hudson.
The winner has until 5 p.m. on Aug. 25 to claim the ticket at any of the five regional lottery offices throughout the state.
If the prize is not claimed, the funds will be deposited into the Lottery’s unclaimed prize fund.
