Rampage Jackson’s Son Attacks Pro Wrestler At Rikishi’s Show
At Rikishi’s KnokXperience independent show, Jackson was seen attending the event ringside. During a match which involved pro wrestler Syko Stu, real name Stewart Smith, Jackson entered the ring and allegedly began throwing legitimate punches at him.
Jackson was reportedly planned to interfere in the match, as there was a pre-show segment between the two which took place outside the venue.
However, Jackson failed to properly interfere and mistimed his queue. After running into the ring, Jackson picked Smith up and slammed him on his neck, and then immediately threw a barrage of punches which left him unconscious.
Multiple wrestlers who were competing in the match were forced to step in and interfere on Smith’s behalf. On his Kick Stream following the incident, Jackson claimed that KnokXPro allowed him to throw real strikes, but this has not been confirmed by the promotion.
Rampage Jackson Provides Update On Independent Wrestler
Following this assault, the UFC Hall of Famer took to Twitter to give an update on the situation, stating that Smith is now in stable condition.
Rampage condemned his son’s actions in this tweet, but also explained how the promoter should not have let an MMA fighter get involved in a wrestling angle.
As of right now, there has been no information on whether Jackson will face consequences for this alleged incident. Many have rumored that this could lead to an assault charge, though it has simply been speculation.
