BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The USA Gas station on Route 67 in Ballston Spa has reopened its convenience store and gas pumps after a fire at the property on June 6. Repairs at the business remain underway.

Officials stated the fire appears to have been triggered by a vehicle fueling beneath the pump canopy. An employee at the station immediately engaged the emergency gas shut-off system to prevent further damage.
“We sincerely thank our community for their continued support and patience throughout this process,” said Erin Ozbay, an owner of the gas station.
Route 67, Route 50, and Ballston Avenue were closed in the vicinity of the store last Friday while firefighters addressed the blaze, which involved small explosions. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office stated that several people were minorly injured, but no serious injuries were reported.
