Roman Reigns’ Bloodline continues to rule over WWE.
Over the past year, the Bloodline has become one of the most dominant factions WWE has ever seen. At the Head of the Table is Roman Reigns, who became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion by defeating Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 38. By his side are twins Jimmy and Jey Uso, their younger brother Solo Sikoa, and the Honorary Uce Sami Zayn.
The Usos have long been regarded as one of the best tag teams in WWE, but over the past two years, they’ve reached new heights. It started when Jey Uso had a singles feud with Roman Reigns in 2020, early into Roman’s heel run. Together, they told an emotional, intense story that saw Jey put on some of the best matches of his career. When Jimmy returned from injury, the two of them kept that momentum going.
The Usos Reach An Impressive Milestone
The Usos became WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions at Money in the Bank 2021 after defeating Dominik and Rey Mysterio. On the May 20 episode of Smackdown, the Usos defeated RK-Bro for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships and have reigned as the Undisputed Tag Team Champions ever since.
On November 14, the Usos surpassed the New Day’s record for the longest WWE tag team title reign set in 2016 (483 days). Today, they’ve reached 500 days as WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
The Usos have been such a dominant force in the tag team division that it’s hard to imagine who could possibly dethrone them as champions. Some fans online are theorizing that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens may be the ones to do so, but we’ll have to stay tuned and see how the Bloodline’s story unfolds.
