Norwegian low-cost carrier Norse Atlantic named Kristin Berthelsen as deputy CEO, a role in which she will work alongside founder and CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen on company strategy and growth, the carrier announced.
Berthelsen “has been integral to Norse Atlantic’s operational progress during our start-up and initial growth phase,” Larsen said in a statement, and she previously was serving as the company’s chief of staff and culture officer. Norse Atlantic launched service in 2022 between Oslo and New York and now has a fleet of 12 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
Besides Oslo and New York, cities served by Norse Atlantic include Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, Bangkok, Cape Town, Stockholm, Athens, London, Berlin, Rome and Paris.
