A robotics researcher from Stanford is introducing Lume, a robotic lamp that can fold your laundry.
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — A robotics researcher from Stanford says he has an invention made for anyone who hates doing laundry.
Aaron Tan posted a video on X, Introducing Lume, the robotic lamp.
It’s designed to fold laundry after you place it on your bed.
Tan tells our media partner, the San Francisco Standard, the video is a 3D model, but he has a physical prototype right now in a garage in San Francisco.

He says Lume will be shipped next year, and it will cost under $2,000.
