This week marks the ten-year anniversary of the unsolved homicide of 85-year-old Lowell Badger of rural Sullivan County.
The retired farmer was found dead in his rural Sullivan County home on the morning of December 8th, 2012.
A gray safe and television were taken from Badger’s home.
The safe was manufactured by the John D. Brush Company.
The television was a 46” LCD Sony Bravia.
Investigators with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police have investigated hundreds of tips and conducted hundreds of interviews.
They also examined many properties and bodies of water throughout Sullivan and surrounding counties.
Investigators believe someone in the community has information related to this case and urge them to come forward.
Anyone with information is strongly urged to call the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post or the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
A reward of around $30,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible
