Heavy summertime thunderstorm conitnue across North and North Central Alabama early this afternoon aided by an approaching upper level trough.
at 12:25, the heaviest ones are over Winston, Walker and Fayette counties in West Central Alabama, moving into Etowah County in East Central Alabama, and in Madison County in North Alabama.
They all have heavy rain, dangerous lightning, and gusty winds.
None of them are severe, but the stronger ones do have significant weather alerts in effect.
Be inside if you hear thunder or see signs of a developing storm in your vicinity, including towering dark clouds.
