ALGIERS, La. (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a fatal crash which happened in Algiers on Wednesday night, July 30.
According to officers, around 10:40 p.m. they were called to the 3500 block of General DeGaulle Drive where a man was reportedly struck by a vehicle.
He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity after an autopsy is done and the family is notified.
