Semi fire closes northbound lanes on I-25 near Mead

DENVER (KDVR) — A semitruck fire has closed several lanes of Interstate 25 on Tuesday morning, the Colorado Department of Transportation reports.

Three northbound lanes of I-25 between CO 119 and CO 66 at Mile Point 240 near Mead are closed.

Emergency crews are on the scene, and the semi is pulled over to the right shoulder of the road.

CDOT said that a 20-minute delay is expected in the area.
