SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Amusement parks are known for creating thrills and chills for guests.
Tripadvisor recently released rankings for this year’s Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Things To Do.
Legoland California in Carlsbad made the cut, ranking No. 7 on the travel company’s list. From cities built with millions of LEGO bricks to costumed LEGO characters, the amusement park has more than 60 rides, shows and attractions. There is also a waterpark, aquarium and an onsite castle hotel.
Other amusements parks in the Golden State that received recognition include Disneyland in Anaheim at No. 11, Universal Studios Hollywood at No. 14, and Six Flags Magic Mountain in Santa Clarita at No. 20.
The top amusement park on the list was Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best was awarded to those who received a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period.
