Samoa Joe officially returned to the ring tonight, performing for the first time in weeks.
During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions returned alongside The Opps. In a trios match against LFI, it was Joe and The Opps who unsurprisingly won. Joe ended the match by trapping Dralistico in the Coquina Clutch, forcing the referee to end the match.
For Joe, it was his first official match since AEW All In Texas. During that show, Joe was stretchered off after an attack by the hands of the Death Riders. With Joe back now, it’s likely he’ll continue his ongoing feud against Jon Moxley and his crew.
