If you haven’t been able to get your hands on an ultra-popular Labubu, Disney maybe able to help you out.
The palm-sized accessories, part of the Urupocha-chan line, have drawn comparisons to the viral Labubu character, which has cultivated a cult-like following for its compact, expressive figures.
Themed to Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and Pluto, the accessories lineup has made its way to the U.S. after only being available in Japan and China.
In Japanese, “uru” means teary-eyed, while “pocha” means chubby. “Chan” is a Japanese term of endearment used for people or things that are cute, according to WDWNT, a Disney blog.
Disney has released themed collections since February that are available on the Disney Store website.
This isn’t the first time Disney has brought merchandise popular overseas to the States.
Items like character headbands and Mickey Mouse-shaped sunglasses, now available at Disneyland and elsewhere, first gained popularity overseas.
