Reliance Jio along with Google has launched the JioPhone Next–an affordable Android smartphone option for predominantly 2G feature phone users. The JioPhone Next comes at an upfront price of Rs 6,499 or Rs 8,800 over 2-years (a minimum EMI of Rs 350 per month for 18 months plus Rs 1,999 downpay and Rs 501 processing charge. This includes 5GB data and 100 minutes calling per month).
If not the JioPhone Next, then buyers have the option to choose from the cheapest Android phones from brands like Xiaomi, Samsung, Realme and others. These phones can also be purchased via EMI on e-commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon. The cheapest Android phones officially selling from Xiaomi, Samsung and Realme are Redmi 9A, Galaxy M02 and Realme C11 (2021) respectively. Here’s a comparison of the Reliance JioPhone Next among Redmi 9A, Galaxy M02 and Realme C11 (2021) smartphones.
