After going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, Woods signed with the Los Angeles Rams as a free agent along with 15 other undrafted players. He successfully earned a spot on the team’s 53-man roster for the 2024 season. Unfortunately, immediately before the team’s highly anticipated Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins, he appears to have injured himself and may not be able to hit the field.
That’s not good news for the Rams, who are riding a three-game win streak and battling with the Cardinals and 49ers in the division. While Miami has shown improvement with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa back, they haven’t yet regained last season’s offensive form. However, the Dolphins are gaining momentum, and the Rams’ vulnerability to big plays—where Miami excels—could give the Dolphins the edge for a much-needed road victory.
The Dolphins, improved since Tagovailoa’s return, are fighting for a playoff spot with a 2-6 record heading into their game against the Rams. Los Angeles, also in Wild Card contention despite injury struggles, needs a win.
The Dolphins are relying heavily on Tyreek Hill, though he hasn’t quite met his usual high standards through the first eight games. Still, he leads the team with 446 receiving yards and 34 catches. However, he’s scored just one touchdown, and the team as a whole has managed only six total touchdowns.

This game will be Hill’s first matchup against the Rams as a Dolphin and just the second of his career. In his previous encounter with L.A., he delivered a standout performance, recording 10 catches for 215 yards and two touchdowns in a thrilling 54-51 loss with his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Rams have been plagued with injuries on both offensive and defensive teams throughout the season and only recently activated center Steve Avila and guard Jonah Jackson from injured reserve. Avila, who sustained a knee injury in Week 1, has been sidelined since. Jackson, who fractured his scapula during the Rams’ Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, has also missed most of the season. Wide receiver Puka Nacuia has also been plagued by knee troubles several times.
