One man was killed and another was injured in a targeted shooting Tuesday in Little Havana, police said.
The shooting happened at around 6:44 p.m. in the area of Southwest 4th Street and 10th Avenue.
According to Miami Police, a vehicle pulled up to two men standing on a sidewalk. Someone got out of the car and then shot both of them.
One of the men died at the scene. Officials believe he was shot in the head. His identity was not released, but family members said 42-year-old Juan Chaneton leaves behind four kids.
The other victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Police said the shooting was targeted and that they need help in finding possible surveillance video and witnesses.
