PORTAGE, Ind. — Two people were killed and a third person seriously injured in what authorities say was a domestic incident inside a Northwest Indiana home.
Authorities called to the residence on the 6300 block of Monument Avenue reported hearing gunshots as they approached shortly after 7:30 p.m. Friday. Once inside, police found two people dead. A third person survived and was hospitalized with injuries said to be life-threatening.
The shooter is one of the two fatalities, police said.
It appears the victims are related, authorities said.
