The incident occurred on the county’s motorway earlier today (Monday, August 4) when officers spotted the car.
Officers say that the trade plates were not legitimate with the driver insisting they were on a “test drive”, resulting in the vehicle being seized.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) posted a photograph of the offending car across the force’s social media accounts later on Monday.
A spokesperson for TVP said: “This vehicle was seen driving on the M40 for a ‘test drive.’
“The trade plates were checked and were not legitimate, and the vehicle was not displaying any other form of registration.
“The driver has been reported for various offences, and the vehicle has been seized.”
