NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead following a crash that happened in New Orleans East on Friday night, Aug. 8.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, around 10:14 p.m., one vehicle, driven by the victim, was heading east in the 12000 block of Chef Mentuer Highway at a high rate of speed when he hit the back of another vehicle.
Police say that when the crash happened, the man was ejected from the vehicle and died on scene.
