A driver accused of firing a gun after being involved in a car crash on Interstate 95 in North Miami Saturday morning was arrested, officials said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a white Jaguar SUV was heading north on I-95 in the area of Northwest 125th Street after being involved in a five-car crash.
Troopers said the driver then started to fire shots from inside his SUV following the crash.
Once at the scene, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center for treatment after being injured in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation remains active.
