TNA is locking in one of its most respected veterans. Carlos Silva confirmed in an interview that Jazz, a former TNA and WWE star, has officially signed on to remain with the company in a backstage role.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp for Fightful Select ahead of this weekend’s Slammiversary event, Silva addressed the ongoing changes behind the scenes in TNA. But he offered one piece of good news for longtime fans: “Jazz has signed on to remain with TNA in a backstage agent/producer capacity,” he revealed.
Jazz made her return to TNA earlier this year after spending several years working behind the scenes with the NWA. She also briefly stepped back into the ring for a TNA battle royal match and has a strong presence as a mentor figure. Beyond TNA, she’s appeared at WWE Evolution and has served as a guest trainer at the WWE Performance Center.
With Slammiversary bringing big names and speculation—especially around possible surprise appearances—it’s clear that TNA is shoring up its talent both on screen and backstage.
Do you think Jazz will help shape the future of TNA’s women’s division? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
