Showers and storms will continue to impact the northern parts of the state as we move into the overnight hours. Through the end of the week, a monsoon pattern sets up across the region. This will bring more scattered showers and storms across the state through the end of the week. This will also bring a heightened flash flooding threat across many areas of the state, especially burn scar areas.
Moving into the weekend we will see an area of high pressure moving southeast of New Mexico. This will continue to push more moisture into the region. Isolated to scattered showers will be in place across many areas of the state through Sunday.
By the beginning of next week, drier air will move across the area. This will bring less showers and storms to the state to start the week. Spotty to isolated showers and storms will still be possible each afternoon.
