The original location of Monday Night Brewing in Berkeley Park will debut its expansion in August, which also coincides with the opening of the new northwest section of the Beltline.
Called The Grove, expect a taproom, patio, and an amphitheater-style outdoor space located adjacent to the new section of the pedestrian trail that connects Northside Drive with Howell Mill Road.
Billed as an indoor-outdoor experience on Trabert Avenue, The Grove will include 30 beer taps serving nearly 100 different drink releases each year, an amphitheater-style outdoor space for live music and community gatherings, twin Italian-built pizza ovens to accommodate a new pizza menu for Monday Night, a 20-foot outdoor LED TV screen, and new morning hours consisting of coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries.
“The Grove brings new life and a fresh start to the Monday Night Brewing space that started it all,” said Joel Iverson, co-founder of Monday Night Brewing, in a press release.
“Thirteen years ago, we moved into an abandoned warehouse on a dead-end street and created an inviting taproom amidst a beer production space,” he continued. “West Midtown has been our home ever since, so we want this to be an everyday experience — a space to connect with friends, meet new people and enjoy fresh beer, great food and good vibes.”
Ahead of its August grand opening, The Grove plans to host a hiring fair in July to staff a number of positions, with more details reportedly to be announced soon.
