Atreeum Greenhouse Venue
For a meeting place that feels like a tropical escape year-round, Wichita’s Atreeum Greenhouse Venue offers ample space with tranquil surroundings for a memorable gathering. Located on the city’s northeast side, the 9,000-square foot double greenhouse sits on a sprawling 40 acres. The venue features 20-foot ceilings, retractable sidewalls and an exterior courtyard with private pond to accommodate any style of meeting for groups of 10 up to 500. Smaller, private rooms are available for event hosts. Planners can choose their own catering and take advantage of bartending service provided exclusively by Shaken or Stirred.
Sedgwick County Zoo
Wichita’s award-winning Sedgwick County Zoo allows guests to experience an event immersed in nature and wildlife. With nine meeting spaces including its Cargill Learning Center, Leopard Deck, Tiger Trek, Elephant Learning Lodge, POET Gazebo, Gorilla Tent room and more, the zoo can host meetings of up to 350 attendees. Take advantage of on-site catering with everything from breakfast, lunch and even snacks and beverages while breaking from sessions. The zoo also offers special admission for meeting delegates, allowing them to explore more than 3,000 animals on the zoo’s 250 acres.
Eberly Farm
Eberly Farm offers an all-encompassing space that provides both meeting space and a large variety of team-building activities for those in attendance. Hosting up to 300 guests inside, the venue includes covered outdoor pavilions, an outdoor stage, sizeable parking lot and access to its 14 acres of woodlands, which offer delegates the opportunity to spread out and take advantage of the included activities. Your guests can enjoy horseshoes and ladder golf, basketball, tug of war, softball, soccer and so much more. There’s also a pool available in the warmer months for an hourly charge. Planners can bring in their own catering and Eberly Farm provides bartending service for its full bar.
B-29 Doc Hangar, Education and Visitors Center
Wichita’s restored and beloved B-29 Doc, one of only two-airworthy WWII-era Superfortress bombers, provides an unforgettable backdrop to the event space available at the B-29 Doc Hangar, Education and Visitors Center. The venue’s lobby, hangar maintenance area, conference room and education center are included in the rental. A classroom can fit up to 100 and the sprawling banquet space has the capacity for 700. Book while Doc is in the hangar and attendees will not only appreciate the space to network, but also the opportunity to get up close to the historic warbird. Located just minutes from the DoubleTree by Hilton Wichita Airport, Hampton Inn & Suites Airport, and Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, the B-29 Doc Hangar is a convenient venue for hosting meetings and receptions.
Riverfront Stadium
Wichita’s Riverfront Stadium was built as a multi-purpose complex capable of hosting a variety of events in addition to baseball. Set in Wichita’s core along the Arkansas River, the venue hosts events for groups of 25 to as many as 6,500 in the seating bowl and an another 3,500 in picnic areas. The Fidelity Bank Bravely Onward Club provides an audio system and eight TVs and a private bar. It overlooks the third base and seats up to 300 guests. The 305-person capacity Coors Light Party Porch is the perfect setting for game day space or casual social mixers with its incredible view of the field. The Dillon’s Picnic Patio caters to a capacity of 410 and offers a front row view of the field, two-hour dinner buffet and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. The Emprise Bank Pavilion sits at the center of the field and provides premium-level hospitality including high and low top tables, outdoor patio furniture, two-hour buffet, complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and full-service bar for groups of 50 to 250.
