FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – A Robertsville, Missouri, man is facing serious charges after deputies allege that he was in possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to Franklin County Sheriff Steve Pelton, the county’s Special Victims Unit spent the last several weeks investigating reports of the sexual exploitation of minors.
On July 9, detectives obtained a search warrant for the home of Timothy Flynn Sr., 43. They examined Flynn’s electronic devices and discovered multiple images and videos of minors being exploited. An arrest warrant was issued for Flynn on Aug. 6.
The Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Flynn with 20 counts of possession of child pornography. Flynn remains in custody without bond. He has a court hearing scheduled for Aug. 14.
Law enforcement officials say their investigation into the case remains ongoing.
