BEAVER, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Missouri man is dead after drowning in Carroll County on Sunday.
According to a Facebook post, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible drowning call at around 5:30 p.m. on July 20.
Authorities were told that Marvin Stephens, 30, of Seligman, Mo. had attempted to swim out to the old train bridge near the campground in Beaver Town.
Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said the Benton County Dive Team assisted the department, along with three other agencies.
Stephens was pronounced dead once his body was found.
