ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man who admitted taking part in the murder of a 13-year-old a year ago will be sentenced for his crimes in November. Michael Flores pleaded guilty to conspiracy and evidence tampering charges in February. He admitted to driving around with Thomas Acee when they fired off shots near 5th St. and Coal Ave., killing 13-year-old Michael Tubb and injuring another teen.
Flores agreed to testify against Acee as part of his plea deal, but Acee died in late July. The court set a sentencing date for November 13. He’s facing up to 20 years behind bars.
