KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a deadly shooting in a south Kansas City neighborhood.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, just before 12:45 a.m., officers were called to the area of East 84th Street and Wayne Avenue on reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds on the front porch of a nearby home.
The man was taken to a hospital by emergency responders and is reported to have life-threatening injuries.
At this time, police have not released any information about the events leading up to the shooting or whether they are looking for a suspect.
