The Lowcountry Artists Gallery will present Still Waters, a fine art photography exhibition by Charleston-based artist Nicole Robinson. It will be on view from August 1 through August 31.
This deeply personal collection was created in the months following the passing of Robinson’s father, guided by the quiet power of the verse that anchored his life and inspired the name of his business: “He leads me beside still waters.” The series is a visual elegy—meditative and emotionally layered—exploring the tension between grief and grace, stillness and strength.
Nicole Robinson is known for her evocative coastal imagery and thoughtful compositions that blur the line between documentary and art. In Still Waters, she turns her lens inward—inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and discover the peace that can rise even in sorrow.
An opening reception will be held at the gallery on August 1 in conjunction with First Friday Art Walk from 5-8pm. The public is warmly invited to attend and meet the artist and enjoy some of her father’s favorite treats.
Lowcountry Artists Gallery is located at 148 East Bay Street in downtown Charleston.
