The Loudoun County Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Budget Story, which highlights county programs and spotlights some of the ways the county puts tax dollars to work, is online at loudoun.gov/BudgetStory.
The FY 2026 Budget Story illustrates how the county’s $4.7 billion budget affects Loudoun residents and businesses, including how new programs and resources will serve residents and businesses in the coming fiscal year. The FY 2026 Budget Story also highlights selected projects from the Capital Improvement Program, which is a six-year funding plan for public facilities and infrastructure.
The Budget Story serves as a companion piece to the county’s FY 2026 Adopted Budget and provides an additional resource for Loudoun taxpayers to learn about the county’s budget. Printed copies will be available at many county government facilities, including the Loudoun County Government Center, Loudoun County Public Library branches and Loudoun County community centers and recreation centers.
The FY 2026 budget went into effect July 1, 2025. The adopted budget document is online at loudoun.gov/budget.
