Loudoun County has again received national recognition for organizational excellence in public procurement. The Loudoun County Division of Procurement has earned the 2025 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute. Loudoun is one of only 48 counties in the United States to receive the award this year.
The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award is earned by public and nonprofit agencies that demonstrate a commitment to procurement excellence. This annual program recognizes procurement organizations that embrace innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership and e-procurement.
Loudoun County has been a recipient of the prestigious award for 27 consecutive years.
