Four years and five months since his last Test appearance, Jofra Archer has been recalled to England’s Test squad for Wednesday’s crunch match with India at Edgbaston.
This week Archer came through his first red-ball game of the season, bowling 18 tight overs for Sussex against Durham, and claiming Emilio Gay’s wicket with a fast inswinger into the left-hander’s pads.
