One lucky Illinois Lottery player purchased the winning ticket for Tuesday evening’s Lucky Day Lotto round at a liquor store in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
The winning ticket was purchased at Walker Liquor, located at 12255 Walker Road in Lemont, according to Illinois Lottery.
The winner scored $400,000 from the game, according to Illinois Lottery. Nearly 19,000 winning tickets were sold in Tuesday’s evening drawing.
Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize. Illinois lottery advises winners to sign the back of their ticket and store it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.
Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only draw game with two daily drawings, according to Illinois Lottery.
