Life Time Perimeter opened the doors on Aug. 8 to its 79,000-square-foot athletic club located between Sandy Springs’ iconic King and Queen towers.
Life Time’s ninth Atlanta location transformed the former Concourse Athletic Club, according to a news release. The three-story fitness complex follows an open-concept design with expansive indoor and outdoor amenities. Pickleball courts, tennis courts, pools, squash courts, a track, fitness equipment, and studios for yoga, Pilates and other fitness activities are available.
“As people increasingly return to the office, we uniquely serve both weekday routines and weekend activities and are excited to reopen this revitalized destination and welcome previous and new members alike,” said Parham Javaheri, executive vice president, president of club operations and chief of property development at Life Time, according to the release.
Life Time Perimeter covers three acres along I-285 and Georgia 400, with easy access for members who work or live in Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and the surrounding area. The release said that features include:
- Eight outdoor pickleball courts and five tennis courts (four clay and one hard).
- Five-lane lap and leisure pools in a beach club-style style setting with lounge seating and snack bar;
- Indoor lap pool, four squash courts and running/walking track;
- Four boutique studios for barre, group fitness, hot and traditional yoga and Pilates, along with dedicated spaces for Signature Group Training programs, Alpha, GTX and UltraFit. Overall, more than 100 classes will be offered weekly;
- Expansive fitness floor with cardio equipment, resistance-training machines and free weights;
- A dedicated recovery space for stretching, water massage and cold therapy chairs, whole body compression technology, percussion devices, metabolic testing, nutrition coaching and more;

Other locations opened since its launch in Georgia in 2006 include Alpharetta, Sugarloaf, Johns Creek, Woodstock and Peachtree Corners. Its Sandy Springs and Buckhead locations feature Life Time Work spaces for members seeking a coworking experience. The release said the company’s most recent Atlanta opening before Perimeter was North Druid Hills, which debuted in December 2024.
