INDIANAPOLIS — After a decade of donning the blue and gold, Myles Turner will be wearing a different colored uniform in the 2025/2026 NBA season.
Turner signed with the Milwaukee Bucks this offseason following the Pacers’ thrilling run to the finals.
Turner took to his Instagram on Thursday night to tell the city he spent the last 10 years in goodbye.
“From a teenager out of Bedford, Texas to the MAN and player I am today,” Turner said, “Indy has been home through it all.”
He shouted out many local businesses throughout the city as he wrote about the little things that he’ll miss most.
From the food on Mass Ave to the potholes throughout the east side, Turner mentioned each place that he will remember.
“21-year-old Myles has to tip his cap to Tiki Bobs, Kilroys and Brothers – man even taking classes at Invoke Yoga downtown,” Turner said.
He went on to show his appreciation to the Pacers’ fans as he said they held him accountable and he spent more time with them than his family.
Turner said that the city will always be special and that the heart of basketball will always live in Indy.
“I’ve been proud to call myself a Hoosier!” Turner said, “I hope you continue to embrace me as much as I’ve embraced you!”
