Juventus continue their quest for a top-four finish in Serie A as they travel to face Jose Mourinho’s Roma side at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
The Old Lady were frustrated in midweek when they were held to a 1-1 home draw by Napoli, leaving them three points off Atalanta in 4th place despite having played a game more.
Juventus have no major absentees to deal with, although there are concerns over centre-backs Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, who have been dealing with injury and Covid-19 respectively.
Here’s how Juventus could line up.
Wojciech Szczesny (GK) – Looks more assured between the posts after a turbulent start to the campaign.
Mattia De Sciglio (RB) – Allegri has tended to prefer Juan Cuadrado at full back in recent weeks, but the Italian will shore up the defence against a talented Roma attacking cast.
Daniele Rugani (CB) – Stood up to the challenge in midweek after replacing the injured Bonucci.
Matthijs de Ligt (CB) – Hasn’t been plain sailing since he arrived at Juventus, but there have been signs in recent weeks that he is beginning to find his feet.
Luca Pellegrini (LB) – Missed the midweek draw with Napoli through illness, but he could come straight back into the team.
Arthur (CM) – Back from injury and back to the forefront of Allegri’s team selections.
Rodrigo Bentancur (CM) – Arguably Juve’s most impressive midfielder when he’s in a confident mood.
Paulo Dybala (AM) – Made his return from injury in the Napoli draw in midweek.
Federico Bernardeschi (RW) – Enjoying an impressive run of form as Juve benefit from his creative qualities.
Alvaro Morata (ST) – Allegri is keen to retain the Spaniard amid interest from Barcelona.
Federico Chiesa (LW) – Netted Juve’s leveller in midweek in his first start after returning from injury.
