MONROE COUNTY, Ind. — A juvenile was ejected from a car following a crash in Springville on Thursday, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were dispatched on Aug. 7, at approximately 8:22 p.m. on a report of a major traffic crash at the 2200 block of W. Popcorn Rd in Springville.
During the preliminary investigation, officers found that a 2004 Hyundai left the roadway and rolled multiple times. The minor was subsequently ejected and transported to an area hospital by a helicopter for serious injuries.
The road was shut down for two hours for crash reconstruction. The crash remains under investigation.
