FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTNH ) — A jury found two men guilty on Wednesday of multiple charges related to a 2022 home invasion in Farmington, according to the State’s Attorney’s office.
Joshua Jenkins, 33, of East Hartford and Branden Holloway, 26, were found guilty of home invasion, multiple sexual assault, assault and robbery charges.
Evidence provided in court said that on Sept. 13 2022, police received calls for a home invasion in Farmington. Victims were found bloody and naked. They reported that Jenkins and Holloway entered the property dressed in black holding firearms with lasers, and ordered the victims to get out of the hot tub and into the home.
The victims were stripped naked and tied up. Jenkins and Holloway then ransacked the home for two hours and assaulted the victims multiple times.
The victims untied themselves and escaped by jumping from a second-floor balcony and ran to a neighbors home for help.
The crime was planned according to cell phone and Instagram records.
Jenkins and Holloway were charged with the following:
- Home invasion
- Conspiracy to commit home invasion
- Two counts of third-degree sexual assault
- Two counts of second-degree assault with a weapon
- Two counts of first-degree robbery by threat of a firearm
- First-degree conspiracy to commit a robbery
Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 7 in Hartford Superior Court.
