Jamie Hayter hasn’t returned to AEW television since her intense match against Mercedes Moné at Double or Nothing, and the reason is now clear—she hasn’t been medically cleared to compete.
Although Hayter made a brief appearance in a segment with Thekla on Dynamite shortly after the pay-per-view, she’s been absent ever since. She wasn’t backstage at the most recent episode either.
According to Fightful Select, AEW sources confirmed that Hayter would be booked if she were available, making it evident she’s still not cleared for in-ring action.
Because of her situation, AEW had to adjust plans on the fly. The lights-out moment during the segment with Thekla was designed to cover Hayter’s physical limitations while still advancing the storyline.
There’s no official timetable for her return, but the company remains hopeful she’ll be back soon.
