BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown man was sentenced on Monday after he was convicted of attempted murder for an incident at the Mayville Library, the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office said.
The incident occurred in August 2022. Xavier Guadarrama, 23, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision for second-degree attempted murder and second-degree assault.
Guadarrama was also sentenced in connection with separate incidents. He received a seven-year sentence for a September 2022 assault at the Chautauqua County Jail and 4 2/3 to 14 years in prison for third-degree attempted arson.
His sentences will run concurrently.
