Here Are Your Key Moments From TNA Thursday Night iMPACT For January 29, 2026
- The System comes to the ring to address their attack on JDC and Moose. Eddie Edwards tells the crowd that Moose is selfish and puts himself above The System. Edwards then comments on JDC, saying the only reason he joined them was to ride their coattails to the end of his career. Alisha Edwards comes to the ring and asks them if they’re proud of themselves for what they did, and why she was kept out of the know on this. Edwards says he couldn’t let her know because she’s too emotional. She tells him that her contract is coming up soon, and maybe she doesn’t want to be involved anymore. She tells him she’s out and leaves the ring, much to Edwards’ chagrin.
Steve Maclin Fired From TNA
In a shocking surprise, Steve Maclin opened his briefcase to reveal he had officially been fired from TNA. Maclin was one of four briefcase winners on last week’s iMPACT during the Feast or Fired match, and Maclin drew the short stick, effectively ending his TNA career.
A former two-time International Champion and IMPACT Champion, Maclin has been with TNA since 2021. An October report from Fightful indicated he was at the end of his current contract, although a new report from PWInsider indicated he had signed an extension, so it remains to be seen whether this is TNA working the crowd, or Maclin is officially out of TNA.
